Top Five Things You Probably Don’t Know About Alberto Gonzales

by Josh Nelson  ::  Filed Under U.S. Domestic Issues  ::  May 10th, 2007 @ 5:50 pm EST

1. He hasn’t really thought about Habeas Corpus.

2. Karl Rove is pushing for his dismissal.

3. You can read the secret document Gozalez wrote which created the conditions that sparked the U.S. Attorney firing scandal here.

4. He has very little professional experience in which he wasn’t working under George W. Bush.

5. He has been urging Internet Service Providers to spy on their customers for quite some time now.

All of these links are worth reading in full. This man has no business as Attorney General of the United States.

This man needs to leave office. How did the hearings go today? I’ve been hearing talk about him “weathering the storm.” Keep up the heat on this guy, he deserves to go down!

interesting thoughts. after the hearings a couple of weeks ago it was definitely evident that there is more going on than we know about. unfortunately the attorney general did not present himself well and as a result whatever support he may have had, i believe he lost. i am not clear why he is still there.

I’m not sure why he is still there either Darlene, but there has been talk of him “weathering the storm” anyway. How can this guy lead effectively after all of this. At best, he is a bumbling fool who doesn’t see the corruption happening right under his nose. At worst, he is a political hack who has been working to corrupt the Justice Department from the inside. Either way, he deserves to go.
