The Screenwriter’s Guild has gone on strike. While they are still drinking Starbucks lattes and wearing horn-rimmed glasses, I stand in solidarity, especially if it puts an end to network television for a while.

The BBC reports on a study, finding that most people are willing to make ‘green’ sacrifices, even those in the US and China.

In presidential candidate land:

Kucinich is forcing a vote this week on his Cheney impeachment bill with 22 cosponsors in tow.

The good thing for having a lot of technophiles backing your campaign? Nifty graphs, this one illuminating the 24-hour “money bomb” Ron Paul just received.

Feminists are split on Clinton’s claim that all the boys are ganging up on her. As a feminist, I’m with Jake on this one: I don’t buy it.

While Hillary’s getting money from big business, Fred Thompson’s getting money from dope peddlers. Yes, Mr. Law and Order himself.

From Ze Blogs:

The White House tells Musharraf that he should never ‘Restirct Constitutional Freedoms’ to Fight Terror. Gahahahahahaha! *wipes away a tear* Good one, Dana.

Ian Welsh weights in on the speculative nature of the Wile E. Coyote economy.

And if you contributed to Ron Paul, here are your campaign dollars at work!
