James Murdoch, Sarkozy and Merkel, Military Families Disapprove of Bush, Progressive Fatwas

What do media empires have in common with feudal fiefdoms? Hereditary succession, apparently…James Murdoch, his father’s heir apparent, “is to take control of News Corporation’s operations in the UK, Europe, and Asia.

In the most disappointing aspect of this whole saga over Iran, Sarkozy and Merkel continue to back Bush and his insane rhetoric. Aren’t the Europeans supposed to be the voice of reason when the US goes off the deep end?

Bush is losing support even among military families.

Progressive fatwas on HIV/AIDS? One supports condom use for married couples where one partner has HIV, another supports use of charity money (from zakat) to help the sick.

At UN-sponsored talks on climate change in Bali, developing nations ask for aid to deal with floods and other natural disasters.

If anyone has gone off the deep end, it’s the writer of this article. Mr Thurston seems to living in a socialist fantasy world devoid of facts. Bush is steadily regaining popularity, the surge is working and Hilary is loosing ground every time she tries to take a position or make a decision. Face reality. Socialism is a widespread failure.

Funny how all you have is right wing talking points. Where did I mention Hillary in this piece, and why would you assume that I support her? Also, why bring up socialism? The only people I mentioned in the article who even come close to being socialists are our big buddies Sarkozy and Merkel - who apparently support the same hawkish rhetoric you do.

I’m wondering where your facts are. Links please?
