Bush kicks off a visit to the Middle East today, stopping first in Israel and holding a press conference with Olmert. More on this later today. Meanwhile, Iran accuses the US of faking the video of this weekend’s naval follies.
Ethnic tensions in Pakistan smolder.
On Thursday, Tata motors, an Indian company, will release the world’s cheapest car.
Kenya: It’s not “tribal conflict”: “It’s the economy, stupid.”
China freezes energy prices to hold down inflation, and “bans free plastic shopping bags.”

Straight from the horse’s mouth too! Wow…just…what the fuck are we doing in the Middle East again?
P.S. Anyone know the story behind Benazir’s sister Sanam appearing in the photo with Bilawal in the Christian Science article Alex referenced?
