The FISA debate starts tonight. Chris Dodd will filibuster any bill with retroactive immunity in it. He’ll need the support of 41 of his Senate colleagues to keep going.
It’s really quite simple. If you don’t want to give retroactive amnesty to telecom companies who spied on Americans illegally, without a warrant, and before September 11th, then pick up the phone. First, call those Senators who pledged to support Chris Dodd:

Don’t let Bush scare Congress into submission with more terrorist mumbo-jumbo. Don’t let him continue to trample on the Constitution and give amnesty to his lawbreaking buddies in the telecom industry. Tell Democratic “leadership” to stand by Chris Dodd.
