Open Thread: Nader’s White House Bid, Poor Iran, War Profiteers Indicted and The Joke is on Huckabee |
|
|
Update: Raul Castro is now officially Cuba’s President.
Ralph Nader announced his bid for the Presidency today by criticizing the top contenders for being too close to big business. Apparently he isn’t familiar with Barack Obama. I voted for Ralph in 2000, but I won’t make that mistake again.
Ahmadinejad’s feelings appear to be hurt, and he wants an apology. Good luck with that, Mahmoud.
Federal prosecutors, in what may be a sign of things to come, have begun indicting war profiteers. I’d say it is about time these people are held accountable.
Mike Huckabee made a mockery of his own campaign last night on SNL by overstaying his own welcome. To some, it shows that he gets it. If he really got the joke, he’d drop out of the race.
Josh Marshall catches Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) in a lie. Now the AP is in on the smear job.
If movie stars put on a huge production in Hollywood, and nobody cares, do the Oscars actually happen? I’ll guess we’ll find out tonight.
What’s in your browser today?

Huckabee is a funny man. That SNL clip is great.
Agreed. He would make a really good uncle.
His response to the whole McCain laying lobbyists thing was pretty classy too.
I was actually thinking last night, who is going to play the next president on SNL? Is Tim Meadows still in the cast? He’d make a bang up Obama.
They had an Obama last night. Not sure who it was.
