Fear vs. Hope

Hillary takes another idea straight from the GOP playbook.

Text (from Dkos)

It's 3 a.m., and your children are safe and asleep, But there's a phone in the White House, and it's ringing — something's happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call.

Whether it’s someone who already knows the world’s leaders, knows the military, someone tested and ready to lead in a dangerous world. It’s 3 AM and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?

Bill Clinton, stumping for John Kerry in 2004.

"If one candidate is trying to scare you, and the other one is trying to make you think, if one candidate's appealing to your fears, and the other one's appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope."

Democrats are better than this. I'm thinking this will put Obama over the top in Ohio.

Update

The Clinton campaign just released this pathetic memo:

Senator Obama has campaigned hard in these states. He has spent time meeting editorial boards, courting endorsers, holding rallies, and - of course - making speeches.

If he cannot win all of these states with all this effort, there's a problem.

Should Senator Obama fail to score decisive victories with all of the resources and effort he is bringing to bear, the message will be clear:

Democrats, the majority of whom have favored Hillary in the primary contests held to date, have their doubts about Senator Obama and are having second thoughts about him as a prospective standard-bearer.

Completely delusional.

Who do I want answering the phone? Someone who's not a warmonger! Preferably Ron Paul, but if I don't get that choice, definitely Obama over Hillary or McCranky!

yeah. that is precisely why i am writing in Ron Paul.
my conscience will let me do no less.
call it a wasted vote; i do not care.
i just dont want to think that i voted for the least of evils when my sons go off to iran to die.

God Bless America. or just us. you decide.

Another top medal for Clinton - (The Ex-President of course) - for fore-warning his country about the war between Hope and Fear. No prizes for guessing who's going to win! The great husband obviously loves his wife, but not as much as he loves his motherland!

Thank you dear Mr. Bill Clinton for giving hope to the world. We all love you and your dear wife, and we wish you both a blessed togetherness forever, away from all the politics.
