How to Combat Conservative Misinformation on TV

Today, I had the opportunity to see a presentation by Cliff Schecter on how to handle media appearances against conservative commentators. Cliff showed some examples of media appearances that are particularly instructive (and entertaining). In each video, the progressive kept their cool, stayed on the attack, displayed a superior knowledge of the facts, and used humor to convey how ridiculous the other side's argument was. Enjoy:

These were all entertaining clips - but in each case, aren't there better things for us to be arguing about? Instead of fighting fire with fire, as the progressives do here, wouldn't it be better to just change the subject and let the world see just how irrelevant FoxNews and the like can be - and that they are intentionally keeping us away what we really need to know?

I think that's Seder's point in the last clip: There are more important things than the War on Christmas (such as Iraq) that should be discussed.
