New Poll/Last Weeks Results - Polling and Television

This week, we want to know about your television viewing habits. But first, last week’s results:

Last week, we ask you if you or anyone you new had been polled about a Presidential election. 82% of you said no. 7% knew one person - including themselves - who had been polled. 11% knew of multiple people who had been polled.

The easy interpretation of that results is that polls are missing a large portion of the population. If I had to guess, The Seminal’s demographics swing younger than the general population. Those of us who communicate solely via cell phone are polled less due to that fact. However, I’m not so sure this really skews the polls. Though the youth vote has been increasing by leaps and bounds, still only 47% of those eligible vote - well below the 64% nationwide turnout numbers. That means pollsters have to poll young voters less to get accurate numbers. Things might not be so skewed after all.

For this week, we’d like to know how many hours a week you spend watching television, on average. Voting begins now in the sidebar on your right!
