Circular Reasoning Enables Hamas |
|

This morning, the scene is exactly what was inevitable for that occupied White House desperately seeking terrorism. Thousands of civilians are dying from Israel’s attacks on the criminally incarcerated population of Gaza. The blame that our cretin in chief assigns is thrown on Hamas.
While no one approves of the constant barrage of Israel by crude rocketry that Hamas has entered into, it is obvious that responding with unbalanced, outlandish, uninhibited attacks on the homegrown insurgency is hardly going to accomplish anything but civilian casualties, outraging the occupied territories. The next seventeen days are full of opportunities for the war criminals to make deeper inroads into what’s left of respect for this country by ignoring humane considerations.
In his weekly radio address President George W Bush said Hamas was responsible for the latest violence and rejected any unilateral ceasefire that he said would allow Hamas to continue to fire on Israel.
He added that no peace deal would be acceptable without tougher action to prevent Hamas and other groups from receiving weapons.
“There must be monitoring mechanisms in place to help ensure the smuggling of weapons to terrorist groups in Gaza comes to an end,” he said.
“I urge all parties to pressure Hamas to turn away from terror and to support legitimate Palestinian leaders working for peace,” Mr Bush added.
Those bombardments of the Gaza populace are just not a good peace move, an aspect of his GWOT that has evaded the worst president ever. As usual, his statements are of a piece with the enlistment efforts of Hamas and other groups that oppose U.S. domination and violence. That does seem to be the aim of all their efforts.
As I observed during my attendance at the Holy Land Foundation trial in federal court in Dallas, our winger Department of Justice equates Israel’s fight against Hamas with our own ‘homeland security’ needs. It is this conviction that an internal struggle in Israel is part of the occupied White House’s ‘mission’ that leads to the outrageous use of injustice, and violence, to promote peace, a practice that is self-evidently contradictory to our real needs.
The willful provocations the executive branch regularly provides have been a huge boost to all our opponents, and are much appreciated by them. The circularity factor, revealing their malice toward all, in turn gives more opportunities for throwing taxpayers’ money away in the fight against what they are occasioning. A perfect fit, the purveyors of violence find their purpose in combat against their own effects.
This can only end when rational behavior by functional adults is restored in our country’s government.
